Tressages Équestres draws inspiration from trimmings and harness braiding, a tradition that dates back to the Maison's earliest days. The Hermès signature is visible among these interweavings of cotton or leather threads: the hand of the craftsman, but also the horse, the rider, and everything that connects them. This tableware is a subtle interplay between figurative and abstract representations. Composed of twenty-seven pieces, ten of which reveal new concave shapes, it adapts to diverse cuisines around the world. The omnipresent white kaolin porcelain highlights Virginie Jamin's designs. Her fine or thick, yet always precise, lines give volume to the textures. The tangy colors, such as lemon yellow and mint, contrast with the petrol blue and the natural tones of the fiber or leather. Each creation features different motifs that play with scale. Each combination of objects is balanced and represents just as many stories to tell around the table. Please take a seat!
